In addition to playing acoustic guitar and singing folk style tunes, Mr. Blevins plays keyboards and violin, and
also sings rock, both lead and backing.  Above he is pictured with his 6-string electric violin.  (WoodViolins)
He has played for over 30 years and has a solid knowledge of music theory.  He is comfortable improvising
fills and leads on violin and keys and has played
folk, rock, reggae, progressive, jazz, country, and traditional.

His last gig was with east coast classic rock group Mascaraid.  With a working list well over 100 songs, they
played over 300 dates in the 3 years Keith was with them.  In addition to the Baltimore/Washington area bar
circuit and corporate gigs, they also played several times at world famous Sloppy Joe's Bar in Key West,
Florida.  Mr. Blevins also toured the college coffeehouse circuit through the northeast a number of times with
singer/songwriter Roger Hernandez.  He also records with the band Deerhorn Station, a jam-oriented progressive
folk experiment based in Springfield, Oregon.

His keyboards are solid pro gear.  His primary gig board is a Yamaha SY55.  It is an older model synth but it has
excellent touch-sensitivity, solid piano voices, and is relatively easy to program for new soundshapes and voices.
He also has a Roland  XP10 which has very rich organ and rotary speaker voices.  It also has several nice synth
features such as portamento, arpeggiator, and single-note solo mode.  He also has a couple of solid stage mics,
mixer, digital effects and wireless for the violin.  He also has an ugly old van to carry all this stuff around.
